Ken was born in Williamsport, PA in 1959. Later his family moved to Ontario, California. He attended school in both states and majored in Business Administration at Lycoming College in Williamsport.

Ken has spent the better part of the past 30 years working with people of all races, creeds and religions. His unique ability to hear and understand the diverse needs and desires of the market place moved him up the corporate ladder with some of the nation's largest communications companies. He is strong in organizational structure, budgetary proficiency, market strategies, branding, and is a tactical leader and innovator.

Over the past several years Ken watched the State of California as unemployment continued to rise, debt increased to almost 550 BILLION dollars, energy costs skyrocketed, government growing out of control and education at the bottom of all 50 states. Alarmed by what he saw, he became concerned about the future of his wife Kathy, his two young daughters and all the families of California.

Realizing the magnitude of the problem, Ken decided the only way to fix the problem was to face it head on. Looking at the people who were running for governor on the republican ticket, he saw a lady who had not voted in California for over 20 years, and was a Democrat running as a Republican. The other person running was a career politician so entrenched in California politics that if he were elected nothing would change. Both of his competitors are billionaires and the battle had already begun to see who could buy the governor's chair. With the odds stacked against him, he filed to run as a grass roots independent republican candidate for Governor of the State of California.

He initiated the "3-step plan" realizing that nothing would change by simply replacing the Governor. To effectively make the needed changes, the people would have to go much deeper and vote out every liberal politician in the House and Senate in 2010, 2012 and 2014, and replace them with qualified conservative men and women. The time and mood of the state and country bear witness that this can be done.

Ken believes we must spur economic growth and investments, create jobs, educate our children, reduce the size of government, stop illegal immigration, protect our citizens, and engage in our democracy. His plan includes:

• Tax breaks and incentives to existing and new businesses desiring to relocate to California.
• Review and change the rules and regulations that have driven businesses from California.
• Reorganize California's education system from the top down by getting the state out of the
   education process and giving the power to the local school boards.
• Review current regulatory boards and suspend or repeal oppressive rules, regulations and laws
   that have had a negative impact on businesses and the environment, especially AB32, the
   Global Warming Solutions act.
• Issue an Executive Order, turning the water on to the Central Valley where unemployment
   has reached a staggering 50%
• Training and putting to work all able bodied persons now on welfare, while reducing the amount
   of time one can receive benefits.
• Maximize the use of all Natural Resources for the good of the state, including drilling for oil,
   building mini-nuclear power plants where needed, increasing solar farms, and installing
   newer, high tech wind farms with smaller more efficient fans.
• Eliminate the overcrowding in our state prisons by 20,000 inmates by deporting all illegal aliens
   to their country of origin.
• Cut funding to illegal immigrants and securing our borders by utilizing the National Guard.

Ken Miller is a principled man with a strong faith in God, and in California's people to make the right choice at the right time.
